STEVIE's BIO
Stevie was raised in Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, in Buckinghamshire, where she grew up listening to music of all genres. She began playing the piano and singing at a very young age and her passion grew along with her involvement in performing arts all the way through her academic life. Moving towards drama, she completed a bachelors degree in Theatre and Performance at The University of Leeds.

After University, Stevie moved away from music and performing arts altogether. Not knowing which direction to take, she tested the waters with a number of options, including; a winter season in Val D'isere, Team building for Girlguiding UK, reception work, Nannying and Dog Walking, Event Management as well as working in an Advertising agency. She also travelled around South East Asia and Australia for a time, and was lucky enough to be a part of the London Olympics 2012 where she volunteered as a ceremony dancer.

Stevie then picked up a guitar and began writing her own songs. Within just a few months, she saved up for a laptop, a DAW and a microphone and began learning how to produce her own music.. She is completely self taught in music production and she already has a very distinctive style.

Having grown up with two parents with a love for musicals, she has been inspired by the classic old films. However her true inspiration lies in electronic pop artists such as Banks, The Weeknd and Nao. She loves using droning baselines to bring her tracks to life, which combined with her saw synths and smooth angelic voice gives her a real unique edge. Her vocal layering is inspired by pop heavyweights such as Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande and her use of harmonies really brings her songs onto another level.

Stevie is currently working on her debut album which will be released later on this year.
