Born as Stephanie Leigh Taylor, Stevie was raised in Greater London where she grew up listening to music of all genres. She began playing the piano and singing at a very young age and her passion grew along with her involvement in performing arts all the way through her academic life. Moving towards drama, she completed a bachelors degree in Theatre and Performance at The University of Leeds, graduating in 2011.
After University, Stevie moved away from music and performing arts altogether. Not knowing which direction to take, she tested the waters with a number of options, including; a winter season in Val D'isere, Team building for Girlguiding UK, reception work, Nannying and Dog Walking, Event Management as well as working in an Advertising agency. She also travelled around the world during 2013 and 2014, and was lucky enough to be a part of the London Olympics 2012 where she volunteered as a ceremony dancer.
In 2015, at the age of 25, Stephanie picked up her sisters guitar and as she gradually improved, she began writing her own songs. A few months later, wanting to have recorded versions, she bought herself a computer, a DAW and a microphone and began learning how to produce music. Four years later she has now fallen back in love with music, and is creating every day. She is a completely self taught guitarist and producer, and having achieved so much at such a young age proves that she is a force to be reckoned with.
